BAMM Lions in Action in our Community

BAMM Lion Bill Daniels Leads 2015 Chesterfield County Veterans Day at Historic 1917 Courthouse

Lion Bill Daniels, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, had the honor of serving as Master of Ceremonies at the annual Chesterfield County Veterans Day ceremony on November 11th.  BAMM Lion President Dan Culbreth and Lions Frank Carlomagno, Fred Tyler, and District Governor Lion Lee Winder also attended.  BAMM Lions placed a memorial wreath at the ceremony thanks to the efforts of Ms. Susan Pollard and her mother, Ms. Elaine Pollard.  Below are photos of Lion Bill Daniels leading the program and BAMM Lions at the information table, as well as several other photos. The BAMM wreath is on the white stand.


BAMM Lions White Cane Days 

BAMM Lions have scheduled the semi-annual White Cane fundraiser at the Kroger store in Midlothian (Route 60 near Route 288).  We will post the updated schedule soon.


BAMM Lions Peanut Sales 

BAMM Lions will continue the annual holiday peanut sale fundraiser at the Kroger Supermarket on Midlothian Turnpike near Route 288.  Check back frequently for upcoming dates,

Both Hubs and Plantation brand peanuts will be for sale again this year. Hubs will offer various can sizes of salted, unsalted and chocolate-dipped peanuts. Plantation's products will include various size cans of honey roasted, butter-toasted, chocolate-dipped and Cajun-spiced peanuts, as well as peanut brittle, salted cashews, roasted almonds, pistachios and chocolate-covered peanut brittle  100% of funds raised are applied to BAMM's mission of providing free eyeglasses and eye exams to those in need, as well as supporting a number of charitable organizations in the Richmond area.
